Christina Thompson | Author Biography

Author • Inspirational Writer • Poet • Survivor • Woman of Faith

“Faith Over Fear.”

Christina Thompson is a self-published author, inspirational writer, poet, and woman of faith who has spent 15 years transforming some of the most painful chapters of her life into words of hope, healing, encouragement, and spiritual restoration. Since beginning her self-publishing journey in 2011, Christina has written from a place that is deeply personal—because behind every book is a piece of her story.

Born and raised as an adopted child in a Christian home, Christina was introduced to God and the foundation of faith at an early age. Yet her relationship with God would eventually become much more than something she was taught as a child. Through tragedy, grief, abuse, homelessness, trauma, depression, loss, survival, and restoration, faith became the very thing she needed to survive.

Today, the words “Faith Over Fear” are more than Christina's motto. They represent the way she has learned to live.

Christina's life has been marked by tremendous loss. She experienced the devastating death of her daughter following what she describes as hospital negligence. She later lost her brother to suicide, only three months after his wife passed away from an aneurysm. She lost a beloved aunt unexpectedly to heart failure in her sleep. She endured the deaths of both her adopted mother and biological mother and carried the additional heartbreak of being unable to attend either funeral. She has also grieved the deaths of her father, her niece just six months later, and her godchild—whom she loved as a niece—who passed away from breast cancer at only 34 years old.

But grief is only part of Christina's story.

She has experienced homelessness. She survived an abusive relationship with a man she once believed loved her—a relationship that nearly cost Christina her life. The accumulation of trauma and loss brought her into some of the darkest periods she had ever known, including severe depression, PTSD, and times when she attempted to end her own life.

And yet, she is still here.

Still standing.

Still believing.

Still writing.

Still loving.

Still hoping.

And Christina will tell you without hesitation that she could not have survived everything she endured by her own strength.

It was only by the grace of God.

Her writing was born from that realization.

“I write because I need to be healed.”

Those words capture the heart of Christina's work. Writing became part of her own healing process, but she soon understood that the words God was allowing her to put on paper might also reach another woman who was trying desperately to find her way out of her own darkness.

Christina writes for the woman who feels alone.

She writes for the woman who feels forgotten, overlooked, left out, broken, or unseen.

She writes for the woman who is uncertain about her future, questioning her worth, struggling with her identity, or wondering whether God still has a purpose for her life.

And she writes to remind her:

You are a child of God.

You belong to God.

Your story is not over.

Through devotionals, spiritual reflections, poetry, affirmations, memoir, inspirational writings, journals, and stories of survival, Christina explores how God can meet us in our most difficult seasons. Her books encourage readers to recognize how God can use even painful situations for a greater purpose, transform negative and toxic mindsets, restore what trauma attempted to destroy, and lead us toward healing, deliverance, faith, identity, and hope.

Her published and developing body of work includes Faith Over Fear: The Morning Dew Devotionals Volumes 1 and 2; 365 Daily Devotionals for a Woman's Spiritual Journey; 365 Daily Scripture Reflections for a Woman's Spiritual Journey; Still Here: A Woman's Journey Through Grace, Faith, and Fire; In the Right State of Mind | All Dreams Are Possible – Poetry & Affirmations; HERstory & Harmony | Short Stories of Survival; My Private Thoughts: Spiritual Warfare & Coping in Silence; I AM | Everything Great from A-to-Z – Positive Affirmations; Rise From the Ashes – Vol. 1: From Survival to Self-Worth; Losing Trinity; Every Heart Has a Poem; Earth Angels – Disguised as Humans Sent by God; I Got You, Sister Queen – Restoring Sisterhood God's Way; and Numbers – Discovering God's Fingerprints Through the Numbers of My Life.

While Christina's books are rooted in her personal experiences, their message extends far beyond her own story. Her desire is to reach women—and anyone searching for faith-centered reading material—who want a deeper understanding of God, how He operates in our lives, and how He can use circumstances we never would have chosen to ultimately strengthen, shape, restore, and redirect us.

When Christina sits down to write, she remembers the woman she once was and considers how far God has brought her. She remembers the tragedies. The losses. The nights she didn't know how she would make it through. The abuse. The homelessness. The grief. The tears. The moments when continuing seemed impossible.

Then she looks at her life today.

She is still here.

And that is the testimony.

Christina now approaches life with renewed hope, gratitude, purpose, and a newfound love for living. Her story is evidence of the Scripture she holds close to her heart:

“With God all things are possible.” — Matthew 19:26

Her greatest hope is that one day her words will penetrate the hearts and souls of women around the world—that long after someone closes one of her books, something she wrote will remain in their spirit and remind them to keep going.

Christina does not view herself as the ultimate author of these messages.

God is the Author. Christina considers herself the co-author.

She remains humbled that God could take what she describes as a broken vessel and use it to pour something meaningful into someone else's life. What once felt like broken pieces have become pages. What once felt like unbearable pain has become purpose. What once felt like the end of her story has become another chapter.

And there are more chapters to come.

Christina is already preparing additional titles for 2027 and beyond, patiently seeking God's direction for the vision, message, and words He would have her share through each one.

She doesn't simply hope those books will become a blessing.

She believes they will.

Because every book has a purpose.

Every scar carries a testimony.

Every life has value.

And even after unimaginable loss, there can still be life after pain.

Christina Thompson is living proof that broken does not have to mean finished.

Her life, her books, and her testimony carry one enduring message:

Have Faith Over Fear.

Because when everything else says it is impossible, God can still write another chapter.

Why Trinity Publishing

The name Trinity Publishing carries a meaning far deeper than a business name for Christina Thompson. It is rooted in love, loss, faith, remembrance, and purpose.

Christina named Trinity Publishing in honor of her beautiful daughter, Trinity, whom she lost in 2006. Although Trinity's life was brief, her presence left an everlasting imprint on her mother's heart. What could have remained only a place of unbearable grief became part of Christina's reason to keep moving, keep believing, keep writing, and keep trusting God with the life she still had to live.

Through that journey, God placed 2 Timothy 1:7 upon Christina's heart:

“For God hath not given us the spirit of fear; but of power, and of love, and of a sound mind.”

That Scripture became deeply connected to the message Christina now carries throughout her life and writing: Faith Over Fear.

For Christina, Trinity Publishing represents the transformation of pain into purpose. Every time the name Trinity appears on one of her books, she is reminded that tremendous loss does not have to be the end of a person's story. God can take the very place that once caused us the greatest pain and allow something meaningful, healing, and beautiful to grow from it.

Christina does not believe she writes alone. She believes God is the Author and she is the co-author, entrusted with putting into words the messages He places upon her heart.

That is why she created Trinity Publishing—as the vessel through which she can publish those messages and share them with others.

Trinity's memory gives Christina another reason to keep going. Her faith gives her the strength to continue. And God gives her the words.

Through every devotional, reflection, poem, testimony, affirmation, and story, Christina hopes to turn what she has survived into something that helps another person survive too.

Trinity Publishing is more than publishing books. It is a legacy of love. A testimony of survival. And a reminder that God can turn our deepest pain into purpose.

In loving memory of Trinity—and in obedience to the God who continues to place words upon Christina's heart—her mission continues:

Faith Over Fear. Power. Love. A sound mind. And the courage to keep writing the next chapter.
